Supporting Charities

We always make donations to local charities from the proceeds of the weekend and have been delighted to have raised around £100,000 for good causes over the years.

This year we will be supporting two local causes:

1. Our very own Buckland Village Community via the Old School Trust (more details to follow)

2. Hector's House charity: Suicide and crisis prevention. https://hectorshouse.org.uk/

Payments

As far as possible, Buck Pub is a card-only payment weekend.

Governance

Many thanks to our organising team of local villagers: Richard Peel; Dave Wall; Clive Brazier and Nigel Kippax

To ensure that all if fair and transparent, Clive Brazier will provide 'independent financial oversight'.  He'll check income and expenditure and verify the numbers. Thanks Clive.
